SANTA!!!

Truly wonderful! Santa made a stop in Morganton over thanksgiving weekend. It was E's first time with the big guy. I think she handled herself very well.

Summer Splashing

This is from this past summer while gigi was visiting. Nothing better than splashing and grinning!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a Pumpkin Patch a couple weekends ago with our friends Megan and Andy and their girls Stella and Molly. It was cold enough for the Wisconsin boy to pull out the ear warmer!

Halloween

Halloween

We had a great time yesterday! We managed to get a little trick-or-treating in despite the rain, and went to the zoo earlier in the day for "Boo at the Zoo." She enjoyed showing off her costume to all the animals ("Hi, Elephant! Look at my costume!" followed by a vogue-like pose).

Table talk

Okay, so being the technical guru that I am, I can't figure out how to get all these new posts in the right order, so if you scroll down to the post titled North Carolina and start there, it will make a little more sense.

Singing

Mom's soooo excited that I have enough hair for pigtails. That's really the only reason this video is on here.

Me and my boys

Brendan and Anita decided to ride the big train one more time before we left, so Conner, Ian, and Elizabeth decided to go for a little ride of their own.
It was a cold, rainy day at Tweetsie Railroad, but we managed to have a good time anyway. Elizabeth was not pleased with the cowboys shooting their guns on the train ride, and she made her opinion known by crying all the way through it!

North Carolina

It's been 2 months since we've posted anything here. Much has happened in Elizabeth's world--we have moved into a new house, she has 4 new teeth, we spent a week and a half in NC, and she has started using the potty (not all the time yet, but we're getting there!). And that's just the tip of the iceberg. She is changing faster than we can believe and getting funnier by the minute. We are moving full steam ahead into the "Terrific Twos." As parents we are just trying to hold on tight, cherish every moment (even those that aren't so cherishable), know that "this too shall pass," and that one day she will grow up and leave us wondering "what the heck just happened"??!! Enjoy the latest...

Arts Festival

Mom, Dad, and I went to the Decatur Arts Festival today. I made a crown, got a balloon animal, and showed off my super cool dance moves! (Oh, and made a huge mess at lunch, hence the wardrobe change.)

Fun in the sun!

Here are some long overdue photos and a video for your viewing pleasure. These are from our Mother's Day celebration which involved me playing in the pool and entertaining Mommy. I think the ensemble should give Uncle Bobby more than enough to work with...

First haircut

Yep, got my first haircut today. It was a breeze. Dad will post some video of it later so you can see for yourself how good I was. But for now, here are some shots of the finished product. I'm pleased (I actually don't know the difference), but Mommy, being the weirdo that she is, cried. Not sure what her problem is--I'm as cute as ever--just ask me!

Otters!

Before seeing the otters... After seeing the otters!!!

True Joy

Mom and dad brought me to the zoo today. It was about 70 degrees out and I got to see an elephant. Life is goooood.

Petting goats... You've got to be kidding me! This could be the cooletst thing ever!

Aquarium visit

I went to the aquarium yesterday with Mom, Dad, Gramma, and Grampa. The fish were pretty neat--the otters and alligators were my favorite--but nothing was half as cool as all the wide open spaces they have there for running around!

Party girl

So mom got me looking really cute for my friend Aidan's birthday party, but I was sure to ditch the bow and get dirt on my tights before we got there so as to look like a respectable toddler.

And now a word from the Spoken Word Artist: Aaaaaaaaaaaa!

Look alikes

Believe it or not but momma wore this coat too. I will make sure they scan a picture of her in it as well.

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen... Nothing like 70 degree weather just after christmas. You know where to find me... the playground.

Understated excitement.

I know I seem chill but... ELMO!!!!!!

Christmas Pretty

Mom found a pretty dress for me to wear. I don't think the bow will last but I sure feel like I am ready for Christmas!

Santa Says...

Stair Master.

Need I say more.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

St. Nick sent dad this hat. He put me to work. Papers for a quarta!
