First haircut

Yep, got my first haircut today. It was a breeze. Dad will post some video of it later so you can see for yourself how good I was. But for now, here are some shots of the finished product. I'm pleased (I actually don't know the difference), but Mommy, being the weirdo that she is, cried. Not sure what her problem is--I'm as cute as ever--just ask me!

Miss E.--
You look so summery! So, now it's time to sign her up for that swim team, right? Granny thinks you look "pooh-tiful"!

I can tell you why your mother was crying...she realizes that you have just taken the first step into the pernicious world of the beauty salon! Your mom has peeked into the abyss and has been horrified by the potential cascade of reverse cash flow that now will be required to "keep up your hair." Trust me my petite, this will be the least costly and complicated hair "do" that you will have for the rest of your life. Henceforth, there will be a never ending parade of "do's" and "re-do's" and "up-do's" and "dye jobs" and "touch-up's" to say nothing of nails and eyebrow plucking and pedicures and waxing (remember, you heard it here first) all under the umbrella of "required" maintenance! You have toddled into the always-bewildering world of "chickdom" enhanced by gossip and sleezy magazines. I suspect that you will love it! And you wonder why your mother cried (?)
