Mom and dad brought me to the zoo today. It was about 70 degrees out and I got to see an elephant. Life is goooood.

I have been forbidden to inject any future politically incendiary observations into my remarks relating to your photos. This certainly crimps my style when it comes to fully expressing my thoughts relative to zoo visits! However, I will "soldier on" as it were and do my best within more narrow commentary parameters. I advise caution when petting goats. There is something unsettling about goats and our culture has attached a distasteful cachet to those of the goat persuasion, e.g., "old goat" (for senior citizen), "getting one's goat" (for playing a trick), and even Goats Head Soup from the Rolling Stones! Apparently goats will eat anything (not unlike yourself) and their milk makes fine cheese as a nod to your family members from the upper mid-west. Elephants, on the other hand, have been given a most revered place in the animal kingdom. They are hard working, persuant, loyal and the symbol of a major political party. Fine fellows, elephants! I see we have a new hair style...a sort of modified combover. It becomes you but I'll bet with your stick-straight, fine hair holding this style in place is a challenge with even the most ferocious hair clip (?) Your dental collection seems to be growing daily. You are a delight to the eye of all who love you.
