This is from this past summer while gigi was visiting. Nothing better than splashing and grinning!

Gigi didn't tell me she loved to play in the puddles.

Making waves when there is no real reason is hereditary (and in your case multi-generational)... so don't give it a second thought. Tell dad he will regret his encouragement in this area labeled "disturbance" both literally and figuratively. Not that divas like you give much thought to why you do or do not engage in a particular activity. Life is to be lived and enjoyed with family and friends. Wonders unfold daily and they are just for you! I see the Halloween "lady bug" boots still fit. I also suspect that your wardrobe turns over quickly these days as you grow taller and with a tad of "width." There's been no mention in some time of your previous eating disorder so I'm glad that has been effectively dealt with. Congratulations on the success of your first trip to see Santa. I assume that some "stills" from the consultation will be posted in the near future (odd term: "near future" but everyone seems to know what it means so we continue to use it to the puzzlement of hard-core grammarians) so the "usual" commentarians can offer insights. This will be my last "offering" of 2009. Your growth and development have been sheer joy for me to observe and I can never properly thank you and your parents for such wonderfully amusing material. I realize that I have a relatively tiny "window" here since someday you will be old enough to read and take exception (also multi-generational in your situation) with my wit. But, for as long as it lasts, thank you for being you.
