Anyway, on their way to their Superbowl victory, the Pack made a stop here in Atlanta where they soundly defeated the Falcons. On hand to witness the whoopin'...Ed and Megan, of course, with their Cheese Heads in tow! Hans and I, being the amazing spouses that we are, stayed behind with the wee ones and let the Wisconsin natives enjoy the festivities in person. Here's a sampling of what they witnessed...

Go Pack Go!!
Not sure if you've heard or not, but THE PACKERS WON THE SUPERBOWL!!! It's true that Elizabeth is not really a direct participant in this post, but THE PACKERS WON THE SUPERBOWL, so the post is more than justified. Plus, when Elizabeth found out that she's having a baby brother, she announced that we should name him Aaron Rodgers, so she is already green and gold through and through :)

It was nice for the Packers to win the super bowl thus bringing some genuine sparkle to the otherwise forgettable Wisconsin. I would imagine that the Wisconsinites celebrated by adding frozen peas and carrots to the chicken casserole while some blizzard raged outside threatening to cover up their satellite dishes! Nice to see your dad and his younger sister but what is it with the cheesehead hats? This is not normal...even the Viking horn things make more sense. You will be interested to learn that there is a connection in my household with the Packers. My wife, known among our friends as St. Elizabeth (have no idea why)got her MBA from the University of California and is a big Cal fan (they do not wear silly hats there but they have plenty of other weird habits) and the Packer QB played NCAA football at Cal thus making St. E a Packer fan (without the wedgee hat)! I'm glad your parents did not agree with your name for your new brother since Aaron is not a name that gets you to the College of Cardinals. I'm personally glad that the Packers choose Aaron Rodgers to replace the creaking Lothario legend-in-his-own-mind. It's obvious that the NFL will always have a special place in your hearts and minds which is fine as long as you too don't start with the cheesehead hat thing.
