We must learn at an early age that everything mom says may just not bear fruit.....or fruit of the looms.....a BVD chapeau is not a fashion statement anymore than a lampshade denotes a party animal.

Actually, this is a marvelous look for you! This "chapeau" is reminiscent of something Marie Antoinette might have worn at a spring garden party at Le Petite Trianon! The fact that the "head piece" was originally meant to be "otherwise worn" should not dicourage you from fashion experimentation. After all, Scarlett Ohara wore a dress fashioned from curtains and look where it got her! Pay no attention to your detractors. Furthermore, your scarcity of hair is hidden from view. One uses what one has to cover one's shortcomings!

I believe your former life as a teenager must have been in the early 60's. Are there rollers under that "shower cap"? I think you look positively Mah-ah-ah-velous!!
