No...no...no...the purse and hat should not clash if you expect to turn any heads at the beach. And, while a mild scowl will discourage the riff-raff from approaching you for small talk and the eventual offer of an "adult beverage," you are carrying the "glare" a bit far here. By the way, your cousin, John Robert (a.k.a. "Johnnie Bob")has a way better head of hair than you do so keep the bonnet in place at all times except in dimly lighted areas. Tell the pasty-chested cheese-head to put on a shirt when you are being photographed together. One's father should not detract from one's overall aura of beauty!
