January found us back in Georgia with the opening of my daycare quickly approaching. The process of getting The Green House off the ground and running has been a terrifying and satisfying experience. No two days are alike! Elizabeth continues to adjust to sharing Mommy with "her friends," which is what she calls all the other children, even though she still doesn't always treat them in a necessarily "friendly" manner, and Mommy continues to adjust to juggling the needs of 5 children at once. All in all, I have been very blessed in my business venture. I am full now and have a waiting list!
Here are a few shots of Elizabeth and her friends at The Green House...

Now THIS is some good material! From the Top: The Four Princesses could wear the same outfits and mis-matches (adding 4" heels) and look "cutting edge" in today's California fashion world. I see four families losing sleep in the future...this bunch is going to break some hearts! The person of undetermined gender in the Swing-Thing in photo #2 looks incredibly happy in spite of no shoes in cold weather and a huge color/pattern clash between outerwear and head cover...another trend setter in training. Likewise a time transport for photo #3...this looks like a college dorm room to me in 2025 except that the "little darlings" will not be reading "real" (there's that word again) books. The bare midriff look on Elizabeth is so-o-o-o hip...just needs some "hardware" to complete the "look" which will certainly be on the horizon. The final offering could not be enlarged so I could not tell what the pile of "stuff" was on the table...oatmeal? Brave endeavor this child care enterprise.
